Everratiā„¢ Automotive LtdĀ specialise in the restorationĀ and modification of luxury classic carsĀ into carbon neutral electric vehicles. Their ethos is to preserve the original and iconic styling of luxury marques such as the Porsche 911, and re-design as modern powerful electric drive cars of the future.

CAI were approached by Ex-Lotus and McLaren Engineer, Mike Kerr, the current director of engineering at Everrati, with a request to develop a suite of Controlled Area Network software which could transform theĀ classic Porsche 911Ā combustion engineĀ gaugesĀ into electric driven instruments.

We worked closely with the team at Everrati andĀ were sympathetic in retaining the style and feel of the original petrol gaugesĀ whilst providing a modern EVĀ solution. We are engaged in providing a full solution to the client by providing a complete design serviceĀ through toĀ supporting all technical aspects during their application.

The result is a striking set of instruments consisting ofĀ Power Meter, Speedometer, Time Clock, 2 in 1 charge and voltage gauge, and a 2 in 1 battery and motor temperature gauge. The gauges all feature black dials with white print and fire orange pointers, the exception of course is the 115mm power meter with silver dial and black print. All powered and controlled by electric drive CAN software.

CAI have worked with other clients on smaller EV solutions, however this was our first large scale project of its kind. We were delighted to be involved in such a prestigious project and were excited to be part of the electrification of one of the most recognisable and desired sports cars in the world.

We are currently also working with Everrati to design electric drive gauges for theĀ Electric Landrover Series IIĀ andĀ Electric Performance GT40.
